My Vel Satis is currently off the road as I've a few other projects on the go. Recently I'm getting a Faulty Handbrake Warning and a clicking sound coming from behind the rear wheels. ( see video ). It's been suggested that it's a faulty handbrake switch. If so how do I remove it to inspect it and are HB switches on the RHD cars same as LHD or are they fitted to another model in the range ie Renault Scenic. Thanks.

I think you need to get a flathead screwdriver behind the small piece of plastic above the (P) and gently prise it out. Then, it should reveal a couple of screws that can be undone and the trim/handbrake lever can be removed.
Then all you need to do is remove the multiplugs on the back of each switch.
Your best bet for a spare will be ebay and I believe that its unique to the Vel Satis this part
