Rear control arms Part No 82 00 602 621 Will these fit a 3.5V6? Listing shows 3.0D only!
Back end noise over bumps. Have replaced Inner bushes on the roll bar and drop links so far.
I read these new control arms are about £125 each to buy, plus import duties and vat, and postage, so £180 each!!!
Question, can they be rebuilt, like the Honda ones? If so, what part No's should I order?
Thanks for setting up a dedicated site, great job.
I happy to contribute some dosh to assist with this site, how do I go about this?
Cheers
Trev

This is a horrid job so well done. I need to get these changed on my 3.5 as well.
Well, at last the new bushes have been fitted, along with Bilstein rear shocks. Total cost, £210 including shocks. What a bloody job too! 2 Hours up on the ramp, using a blow torch and compressed air impact hammer-chisel, to get the old ones out. To say they were worn, is an understatement.
No knocking at the rear and a firmer ride all round, fantastic. No wonder the garages want almost £350 to change just the bushes. Thankfully, my mate only charged 10 tins of Guinness!! Now the front.
I have the bushes here, and new rear suspension shocks. Just waiting for my mate with a bearing press to pop the old ones out and replace them. Hoping they will do ok. As soon as they are done, I will let you know. Now the front end!!!
Hi Trevor
How did you get on wth the bushes?
Thanks for your help guys, I will certainly investigate those options right now.
Polish ones are a bit cheaper but with 20% VAT and the time delay, I will go with the UK sourced ones.
What about the small plastic bush thing at the front of the bar?
I had my rear transversal arms rebushed in 2017. Google the bush part number iMPBS: 51038138. They show as bushes or transversal arm 82 00 602 621. They come from Poland. I paid with paypal.
Ive just looked in ebay and looks like someone in london is selling at £35.00 each.

Believe you can get them from autodoc.co.uk but they are actually in Germany so you may have eu delays.
Trev, I believe you can still get all the parts directly through your local Renault dealer if you're willing to wait a bit. I got some rear bushes from my Doncaster branch , but they did take 10 weeks to arrive! They told me that was not normal waiting times however
If you want a really good spares car, there is one for sale in Preston on facebook marketplace. I replaced every single suspension component back and front on that car and then sold it on as I didnt want the diesel engine anymore. But all parts were replaced from Sep 2019 onwards (when i got it) , I did the arms and even the other twisted drop links that no one ever replaces. Its done less than 10k miles too in that time.
Bugger!, I was told that the parts were in stock and they would be sent, hence my earlier post. Just had an E mail, it contained thse immortal words, "OUT OF STOCK" and my payment was refunded. Well, the saga continues!!
I even have a relative in France looking for these units, in the hope that there are some around.
In truth, if I could find a scrap car and take the old ones off, I would get a machine shop to make me some up. The plot thickens!
Well, I have sourced 2 new ones, original parts, at a total cost of £297. Ouch!!! Add that to the newly installed anti roll bar bushes and drop links, that is nearly, £400 and there's the new shocks to come, add another £150, wow £550. I only paid £830 for the entire car. Hope this solves the issues at the rear end.
Hi Trevor , Kieran here , I really appreciate you'd like to contribute i will bear it in mind , i am just seeing if it can gain some popularity first from the Facebook group members and then if usage is enough we will setup something to fund it. I'll keep you posted but of course it works perfectly it's just not accessible via a Google search. I have another possible contributor aside from myself so I will look into getting a domain if the users rise this next week or so !
Also, regarding the rear arms , I don't know if they can be refurbished, I've heard that a BMW X5 trailing arm bush can be fitted but it needs a sleeve making, not sure on how valid this is though. I've had to fork out the same as you it ain't cheap you're right! Cheers
